I wanted to share with you my new endeavor!
I heard about BeautyCounter through many Paleo blogs and podcasts that I follow. So back in January when I saw a BeautyCounter booth at the Taste of Fitness event I of course became excited because I hadn’t seen or heard anyone around the Columbus area talk about BeautyCounter. I picked up some samples and signed up to receive emails to learn more about the company and products.
It wasn’t until the end of February when I met with a lovely lady to talk more about the opportunity BeautyCounter had to offer. I fell in love with their mission and then their products – I knew I needed to jump on board. So the following Monday I signed up to be a BeautyCounter Consultant!
BeautyCounter’s mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Did you know that the United States has not passed a major federal law to regulate the safety of ingredients used in personal care products since 1938? That literally blows my mind! The U.S. has only partially banned 30 chemicals in the product formulas of personal care products. BeautyCounter has gone above and beyond – The Never List™ is made up of more than 1,500 questionable or harmful chemicals that are never used as ingredients in BeautyCounter products. This includes the over 1,400 chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union, plus additional chemicals screened by Beautycounter and found to be of concern.
Why did I sign up to be a consultant? I have been so concerned about what I have been putting in my body and not what I’ve been putting on my body – I knew this needed to change. When I read BeautyCounter’s mission there was no question! I want to be apart of this awesome movement! The business side of it is just a plus in my eyes!
Here are a few of my favorite products:
- No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask
Products I’ll be trying soon:
